Crums on Central has been open since June 11, and, according to owner Andrew Crumrine, things are going well. "So far, so good," he laughs. "It’s all word of mouth, but we’re very pleased." Crumrine credits his value-priced menu, with the top entrée topping out at $19, as one reason for his early success.
Another, he admits, is the building, the former home of Le Cafe DuTeau. "It seems like people are really excited to get back in this building," he says. "It’s got such a long history in Augusta."
